Investigation Report: Strange ongoings in Crisfield. Ominous humming sounds eminating from the dilapitated Saltmarsh Estate owned by the Regalis K. Rump. The Rump Family is a very wealthy family from England that hold a sizable estate in Talbot county, Machiasport, Maine, and Tor Bay, Nova Scotia. Locals are concerned with a large decline of oyster and crab harvesting in the Crisfield area. Locals are blaming a possible witchcraft cult at Saltmarsh putting a curse on Crisfield. A very large ugly man who goes by the name "Roughneck" was buying provisions at Wade Ronus's store. He was accompanied by 4 small dark red skinned possibly mutated "children," (accordign to wade they all were hooded and wrapped with bandages concealing their faces) that Roughneck called "family." Wade contacted Marcus Upstream to start an investigation.
